Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

A city full of light

Sailing to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria means visiting a destination with one of the best climates in the world. But beyond its heavenly beaches and pleasant temperatures, both the island and the city hide many secrets just waiting to be discovered.

What to see in Gran Canaria
The two historic quarters of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Vegueta and Triana, are the main starting points for foreign visitors who want to discover the city. Our advice is to take your time, wander through the streets until you come across monuments like the Casa de Colón or the Santa Ana Cathedral. When you get there, climb to the top of the monument and enjoy the spectacular views from the sacred temple.

The climate is one of the main attractions of Gran Canaria and the beaches all over the island will not let you down. Playa de Mogán, San Agustín, the Maspalomas Dunes... and not forgetting, of course, Las Canteras, in the island's capital.

What to do in Gran Canaria
If you have taken your car on the ferry to Gran Canaria, we suggest three short visits: discover the charms of the village of Arucas, spend a family day out in Palmitos Park, or climb to the top of Pico de las Nieves to enjoy the views from the observation point.

How to get to Gran Canaria
The most comfortable way to get to Gran Canaria is on the triangular Huelva - Gran Canaria - Tenerife route offered by Baleària and Fred Olsen Express. As well as our regular on-board services, in high season we add extras like massages and live music. Book your seat and travel in total comfort!
