Spain's first electric ferry
Thanks to its electric propulsion, the Cap de Barbaria is emissions-free during its approach, manoeuvring, mooring and stay in port. This means a substantial improvement in air quality compared to the ships currently operating on the Ibiza - Formentera route, where it will go into service.
Accommodating 390 passengers, the ship has been designed with outdoor spaces in mind, including the upper deck which has a chill-out zone equipped with designer sofas and hammocks and protected from the sun by canopies, with a large bar in the centre.
Large, open-access indoor area
Comfortable interior seating and open-access tables.
Outdoor chill-out zone
Large outdoor chill-out zone, where passengers can relax in comfort and enjoy their natural surroundings during the crossing. This space is furnished with designer sofas and hammocks, canopies and a large bar in the centre.
The aim of Balèaria's smart ship is to significantly improve the on-board experience for customers. These new services are designed to make the journey easier before boarding and to enhance your experience throughout the crossing. Accessing the ship or your accommodation with your phone, enjoying digital content on demand or being able to talk via WhatsApp are some of the improvements introduced by this new technology
Children's play area
