At Baleària we have created a collection of toys made from 100% recycled plastic. These unique toys represent marine species and raise awareness of the responsible use of plastic.
 

Not only do they entertain the little ones, they also help to protect marine species..

100% of the proceeds will go to the Baleària Foundation's environmental projects dedicated to the protection of marine species.

Through La Juguetería del Mar we have collected plastics, thrilled the smallest passengers with workshops on board... and most importantly, helped to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment.

The concept and manufacture of the toys has been undertaken by Juan Cabrera, an artisan from the Planeta Tapón project, who has created several toys inspired by marine fauna: seahorses, crabs, octopuses and sperm whales, among others. Each of the figures is a unique and exclusive piece, made from caps, bottles and other plastics, using a simple assembly technique without glue or paint.

Onboard workshops

During the Christmas period, Baleària will be offering workshops to build toys using recycled plastic from the ship itself. The onboard sessions will be carried out on the 22nd, 23rd and 26th of December and the 2nd, 3rd and 7th of January, on the València-Palma, Dénia-Ibiza-Palma, Barcelona-Alcúdia-Ciutadella, Barcelona-Palma, Algeciras-Ceuta and Málaga-Melilla routes.

Sales

These toys will be available at selected ticket offices and ships.

Initially, they are available at the Dénia ticket office and on the Eleanor Roosevelt fast ferry. By buying these toys you are helping to protect marine species. All proceeds from sales will go to environmental projects that collaborate with the Baleària Foundation.
