We have since 2012 been working on gas-related projects, and in 2019 achieved a historic milestone: we were the first shipping line to use this cleaner fuel to sail the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar and Canary Islands. A strategic venture which allows us to keep one step ahead of increasingly strict pollutant gas regulations.

Natural gas is our way of combating climate change (as it reduces greenhouse-related CO2 emissions by 30%), while also protecting the health of the population (thanks to an 85% reduction in NOx emissions, and the complete elimination of sulphur and particle emissions). Meanwhile, use of this fuel also serves to reduce noise pollution and vibration.
