REQUIREMENTS AND CONTROLS REGARDING THE MOVEMENT OF PASSENGERS ON FERRIES

 

TO TRAVEL TO MOROCCO FROM SPAIN

 

The health conditions for entry into Morocco are:

All passengers over 12 years of age must present the following in order to travel:

  • Fill in the health form which can also be found on board the ship.

TO TRAVEL TO FRANCE FROM MOROCCO

 

End of restrictions on travel to France. 

As of 1 August 2022, all passengers departing from Nador and arriving in Sète will no longer have to comply with any health requirements.

FOR TRAVEL BETWEEN ALGERIA AND SPAIN 5>

The conditions for entering or leaving Algeria are: 

  • Minimum check-in time for boarding is 5 hours prior to departure and closes one hour prior to departure with no exceptions.
  • As it is an international journey, it is necessary to be in possession of a PASSPORT, as well as the appropriate visas according to the nationality of the passengers.
  • Boarding passes CANNOT be issued online, and must be collected solely and exclusively at the Valencia or Mostaganem offices on the day of departure or 72 hours before departure.

 

FOR TRAVEL TO SPAIN FROM MOROCCO .

End of restrictions on travel to Spain. 

  • From 21 October, 2022, there are no longer any health restrictions on entry into Spain from Morocco.
  • As it is an international journey, it is necessary to be in possession of a PASSPORT, as well as the appropriate visas according to the nationality of the passengers.
  • Boarding passes CANNOT be issued online, and must be collected solely and exclusively at the Baleària ticket offices on the day of departure or 72 hours before departure.

 


FOR TRAVEL WITHIN SPAIN (BALEARIC ISLANDS, CANARY ISLANDS, CEUTA AND MELILLA)

 

TO TRAVEL WITHIN SPAIN NO EXTRAORDINARY HEALTH CONTROL MEASURES ARE REQUIRED. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE TRAVEL HEALTH FORM.

BOOKINGS WITH PETS

From Melilla* or Ceuta pets must travel according to the following requirements:
- Be microchipped
- Present the certificate for a valid rabies vaccination administered within the last 12 months.
- Present a European pet passport (Regulation (EU) No. 577/2013), containing identification and vaccination data.

*Melilla to Motril: the non-commercial (pet) movement of dogs, cats and ferrets is prohibited as of January 11, 2022. Until January 11, in the Port of Motril, animal controls will be intensified.

Our fares are more flexible! In addition, if the mobility restrictions adopted by the government have affected your trip, we will let you change the date of your booking at no extra cost*. If you are still not sure when to travel, you can also leave the date of your booking open and decide at a later date.
* The first two changes carry no penalty.


SECURITY MEASURES


Currently the use of face masks on board our ferriesand fast ferries is not compulsory. You should only use one if you are unable to respect the minimum safety distance required.
