The project

Introducing Baleària Canarias

A new project bringing together the experience, innovation and leadership of Baleària, one of Spain’s leading maritime operators, with the history and deep roots of Armas Trasmediterránea in the islands.

We continue to connect the Canary Islands with the same routes, the same people and the spirit that has accompanied thousands of travellers for decades, while progressively introducing improvements to the fleet, comfort, digital services and the onboard experience.

During this transition, both brands will coexist as they move forward together into a new phase, driven by a strong team and a more approachable, modern and sustainable vision for maritime transport in the Canary Islands.

Inter-island routes and connections to mainland Spain continue to operate as normal, ensuring the mobility that forms part of everyday life for thousands of people.

At the same time, a new phase of transformation and improvement begins.

We are working to progressively introduce new vessels and upgrade the current fleet, enabling us to offer more sailings, a more comfortable and digital travel experience, and more modern, efficient connectivity between the islands and mainland Spain.

Following the integration of three historic legacies in Spanish maritime transport, Baleària has established itself as Spain’s leading scheduled maritime transport company and one of Europe’s benchmark ferry operators.
