Another year collaborating with the Royal Nautical Club of Palma

The 42nd Copa del Rey MAPFRE will take place from July 27 to August 3 in the Bay of Palma. It is organised by the Royal Nautical Club of Palma and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, with the sponsorship of MAPFRE and the institutional collaboration of the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Palma City Council, the Balearic Port Authority, and the Balearic Sailing Federation.

Baleària Sailing Day

After the measurements and training, the competitions begin! On July 30th, the Baleària Sailing Day will take place, with the Baleària ORC 3 class competing. After the day's events, the winners will enter a draw for an EXTRAORDINARY trip for 2 passengers and their vehicle aboard our vessel Margarita Salas.

We are raffling a double breakfast on the terrace of the RCNP and a VIP experience on board one of the boats, to enjoy the regatta from the front row, among our Baleària Club members. GREEN COURSE

As a responsible company, Baleària takes on the challenge of decarbonization as the only possible path in the fight against climate change. That's why it is immersed in an energy transition process.

Eco-Efficient Fleet
The shipping company has invested around 500 million euros in recent years in a fleet of eleven ships with dual gas engines, in addition to an electric ferry.

Commitment to Gas
For Baleària, natural gas is the real and most mature alternative currently available in maritime transport to contribute to emissions reduction.

Future Energies
The versatility of dual engines allows them to consume neutral renewable energy in CO2 emissions, which is currently unviable but something Baleària is already studying and experimenting with.
