If you've taken your car on the ferry to Almeria, you're in luck. Two of the most interesting activities are just a few kilometres from the city. Discovering the natural beauty of Cabo de Gata is a must, and if you go during the warmer months, you can take a dip at the beautiful Playa de los Genoveses beach.

Also, less than half an hour's drive away, you can visit the backdrop to an important part of Hollywood history. The most well-known Spaghetti Westerns were filmed in areas near the Tabernas Desert and you can visit the most famous studios that produced these movies, as well as a theme park.
