Ferry to Denia: let the journey begin!

If your next trip is on a ferry to Denia, get ready - there are so many ways for you to enjoy it! In the city of the “gamba roja” (red prawn), you will find a huge variety of places to explore as soon as you set foot in the port – don’t miss the castle, the historical centre and Montgó Natural Park. If you want to truly make the most of your holiday, we suggest taking your car with you so you can enjoy a tourist route along the Alicante coastline.

The Marina Alta region has so much to offer visitors. Why not start with a visit south, to Javea? The charms of this city will be apparent from your first visit to Primer Muntanyar beach to admire the panoramic views, with San Antonio Cape at one end and Prim Cape at the other.

For your second stop, choose Calpe. Here, you’ll find the impressive Peñón de Ifach rock, where a trip to contemplate the views from the top is something that shouldn’t be missed. If you’ve brought your climbing equipment, you can also enjoy one of the routes suggested by the peñón office.

Our tourist route then continues on through two of Marina Baja’s most beautiful areas: Altea, a lovely fishing town you’re sure to fall in love with, and Guadalest, where an obligatory visit is a trip up to the highest point to see the castle and the views of the reservoir.

With Baleària, you can regularly board a ferry to Denia from Ibiza and Menorca all year long. In addition, in the summer we offer a special line from Formentera to Denia. Check the timetables and offers on our website to find the one which suits you best… and get ready to explore Denia by car!
