Dénia

Ferry to Dénia: start your trip!

If your next trip is by ferry to Dénia, get ready! There are endless leisure activities ahead for you to choose from. The "red shrimp" city has nooks and crannies for you to discover as soon as you set foot in the port: the castle, the historic centre, and Montgó Natural Park. But if you want to make the most of your holiday, we suggest you take your car with you and enjoy a sightseeing tour along the Alicante coast.

And the Marina Alta region has so much offer. You can start by heading south until you reach Jávea. Its charms are evident from the moment you arrive at the beach of Primer Muntanyar and gaze at the panoramic sweep from Cabo Sant Antonio at one end to Cabo Prim at the other.

The next stop is Calpe, where the main attraction is the imposing Peñón de Ifach outcrop. It is well worth stopping and taking in the views from the top. Also, if you have brought your climbing gear, you can enjoy some of the routes suggested by the Peñón tourist office.

The route continues through two of the most beautiful towns in the Marina Baja. Altea is a beautiful fishing village where you'll want to stay and live, while a trip up to the heights of Guadalest to see the castle and views of the reservoir from the village is a must.

Baleària offers regular ferries to Dénia from Ibiza and Menorca all year round. Also, during the summer, we run a special route from Formentera to Dénia. Check our website for the timetables and offers that best suit you... and get ready to discover Dénia by car!
