Ferry to Algeciras: so much for you to discover!
Ferry routes to Algeciras from Ceuta and Tangier cross the Strait of Gibraltar in less than two hours. This journey with Baleària, which is both fast and comfortable, also enables you to take your car on the ferry with all the luggage you need for your holiday… and there’s no need to leave your pets at home!
Before you reach your destination, take a short break and rest in the majestic Plaza Alta. Or, if you prefer, you could visit the Church of Our Lady of the Palm, the main attraction in the city’s old town. The ferry to Algeciras docks close to here, in the city’s port, and you will be able to reach these locations after a short walk.
Once you have had chance to recharge your batteries, set off towards Bahia Park to enjoy a day with your family in one of the best water parks in Andalusia. If the beach is more your thing, we suggest two options: El Rinconcillo and Getares. As well as being ideal places for a dip, the views of the Rock of Gibraltar from here are difficult to forget.
This getaway to Algeciras won’t be complete until you explore the surrounding area. The city is surrounded by natural parks such as Los Alcornocales, with lovely towns such as Castellar de la Frontera, or El Estrecho Natural Park, which offers spectacular panoramic views of Africa.
Baleària offers two routes for travelling by ferry to Algeciras: Ceuta Algeciras and Tangier Algeciras. On our website you can see all the information about timetables, prices, and rates for the ships which travel on the route. Book now…and get ready to cross the Strait of Gibraltar!
