BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

With the aim of complying with the health and safety standards required by the relevant authorities, the following requirements are MANDATORY:

> Passengers bound for FRANCE:

  • All passengers aged 11 and over must be in possession of proof of a negative PCR test carried out within 72 hours of boarding and have completed this form.Fully vaccinated passengers are exempted from having to present a negative PCR, but must present a vaccination certificate.Please note that France will consider the vaccination certificate to be valid when:>>>>
    • Janseen vaccine: 28 days have elapsed since the first dose. 
    • Pfizer, Modern, Astrazeneca vaccine: 7 days have elapsed since the second dose.  
  • Exclusive service for foreigners in Morocco and Moroccans living abroad.
  • People with the exceptional authorisation of the corresponding prefectures or authorities can also travel.
  • NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION

Validity: From 21 August.

These are the requirements indicated by the French Republic for travel to/from France, to/from countries classified as RED.

LIST OF URGENT REASONS FOR TRAVEL TO/FROM A COUNTRY CLASSIFIED AS RED.

TO A COUNTRY WITH THE COVID CLASSIFICATION: RED.

  • Foreign national returning to their country.
  • Death of a direct relative (grandparents, parents, children and siblings). Visiting a person whose life expectancy is compromised, for direct line family members (grandparents, parents, children and siblings).Required documents: declaration or death certificate, medical certificate attesting to the situation of the person whose life is at risk, proof of the family relationship.
  • In the exercise of custody rights recognised by court order. 
    • Required documents: court decision and supporting document from the place of residence.
  • Summons by judicial or administrative authority. 
    • Document required: summons by administrative or judicial authority.
  • Legal or economic impossibility of remaining in the region where the person is / enforcement of an expulsion from the region.>>>>
    • Required documents: Expired residence permit, dismissal order, etc.
  • Participation in a university exchange programme. 
    • Document required: Educational certificate issued by the university.
  • Vital medical emergency (both for the person and their companion, if their presence is essential). 
    • Required documents: medical certificate, hospital admission document, etc.
  • Missions essential to the development of an economic activity, which require an on-site presence that cannot be postponed and whose postponement or cancellation would have manifestly disproportionate consequences or would be impossible (including transport professionals). 
    • Required documents: employment certificate, professional crew card for international freight transport, international passenger transport, international maritime transport.
  • Health or research professional contributing to the fight against COVID-19 or participating in cooperative health-related operations. 
    • Document required: professional licence.
  • Ad hoc missions related to exercising the prerogatives of public authority (including diplomatic missions and missions essential to the pursuit of execution of operational contracts of the armed forces or military corps) and which cannot be postponed. 
    • Document required: professional licence, mission order.
  • High-level professional athlete for participation in competitions.Validated by the Ministry of Sport. 
    • Document required: professional licence, certificate issued by the organiser in conjunction with the Ministry of Sport.

COMING FROM A COUNTRY IN COVID CATEGORY: RED

  • French national, as well as your spouse (married, common-law partner and partner) and your children.
  • European Union national or equivalent, as well as their partner (married and their children, having their main residence in France).
  • National of a third country, holder of a valid French or European residence permit or long-stay visa, having their main residence in France (only valid if the trip abroad took place before 31 January, 2021, or was justified by a compelling reason).
  • National of a third country holding a long-stay visa issued under family reunification or family reunification of refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and stateless persons.
  • National of a third country holding a long-stay visa issued under family reunification or family reunification of refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and stateless persons.
  • Worker in the land, sea and air transport sector or provider of transport services (including drivers of any vehicle for the transport of goods intended to be used within the French territory, as well as drivers in transit, or travelling as a passenger to position themselves at their point of origin, including train travellers).
  • Foreigner serving in a diplomatic or consular mission or an international organisation having its site or an office in France, as well as their partner and children.
  • Traveller in transit staying in the territory less than 24 hours.
     

Health authority measures for travel to Morocco, in force from 18/11/2021.

> Passengers bound for MOROCCO:

  • Any passenger may travel to Morocco from the list of countries published in the Moroccan Government's "A list" (For A" list countries you must take into account the measures set out below.(See the "A list" here.*The lists are updated every 15 days and can be consulted on the pages of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Health and Tourism).
  • Likewise, passengers on the "B list" may travel to Morocco, taking into account the measures set out below. (See the "B list" here.*The lists are updated every 15 days and can be consulted on the pages of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Health and Tourism).

 

1. Common measures

  • Passenger health form, to be downloaded online before boarding (also distributed on board the ship), duly completed, including the passenger's address and two telephone numbers where they can be reached, if necessary, within 10 days of arrival in the country. Download the health form here
  • Double temperature control, systematically applied on arrival.
  • Randomised control by rapid antigen test on arrival.
  • Compliance with current measures in Morocco: use of mask , physical distancing and hand hygiene.

2. List A countries

  • A certificate proving that the person is fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 with the vaccination cycle having been completed at least 14 days before the trip

The above-mentioned vaccination certificate and PCR test must be included in the Health Pass for countries that have this document

3. B List countries

  • A certificate proving that the person is fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 with the vaccination cycle having been completed at least 14 days before the trip
  • And a negative PCR test taken less than 48 hours before boarding (time between sampling and boarding);
  • The above-mentioned vaccination certificate and PCR test must be included in the Health Pass for countries that have this document

 Additionally:

  • Random testing will be carried out upon arrival in Morocco. If the rapid antigen test is positive upon arrival:
  • Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco who test positive upon arrival in Morocco will be cared for by a healthcare structure, involving a 10-day lockdown according to the current healthcare protocol;
  • Any other passengers who test positive on arrival will not be able to enter the country.
  • NB: Children under 6 years of age are exempt from PCR testing

 

  • To disembark in Nador, you must complete the health questionnaire issued by the Moroccan authorities and submit it on board the ferry.

We inform you that the access control to the port of Nador closes: 
 for vans, 4 hours before departure; 
 for cars, 2 hours before departure. 

Remember you have to show your passport. As on any international journey, document control will be carried out.  If you fail to meet these requirements, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOARD.
