Innovation and technology
A sustainable and advanced project

To carry out a trip between both ports at a standard speed, 8MWh are needed, so the batteries must have a capacity of 11.5 MWh gross. The ship is also equipped with diesel combustion engines as backup for possible contingencies.
The complete recharge must be done during the stopover, which lasts one hour. The port batteries complement the shore power supply and allow a full recharge of the fast ferry batteries in just 40 minutes. When the ship is not docked, the port batteries are recharged.
