On-board staff

The 1,000 people who currently make up Baleària are the company's prize asset. Their daily commitment and dedication are fundamental in offering the very best service, both on board the ships and on land.

This human asset comprises the ships' crew (captains, officers, sailors, sailing assistants…) and the land personnel, comprising the administration, human resources, marketing, cargo, fleet, communication, IT and other departments.

Fun and Entertainment

During peak season, Baleària increases its staff to provide you with improved services and incorporate specialised entertainment staff on board to make your journey more enjoyable and entertaining.  

If you are travelling with Baleària in summer, there will be comedians, magicians, stand-up comedians and children play instructors on board to make your journey a unique experience.

Training and commitment

Baleària is committed to in-house promotion and an extensive range of training, with the aim of achieving the personal and professional development of its workforce. An Induction Process has also been introduced for newly recruited personnel to facilitate their incorporation and initial training at the organisation.
